This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

The above 5 star rating applies to our serviceman, Steve. He did an outstanding job replacing the broken parts of our garage door, and he took the time to explain how to lubricate the parts to extend the life of the door. He was extremely personable.
We were disappointed in the information we received on the phone regarding the ability to combine multiple coupons/military discount, so I cannot give 5 stars to our overall experience.

Precision Door & our technician Russ was great. Russ was there within 2 hours of calling for service on a Saturday morning. He was very knowledegable and explained the problem, the repair and how to keep the door maintained in the future. The repair took less than an hour and he cleaned up after the repair. I loved the fact that I could see the repair techs on the website & read about them before they came to my home. I felt safe especially since I was home alone that day. Love the website & the way the company is run. Good job. I will definitely recommend Precision Door to my friends & family.

Stefan did an excellent job when he came to my home, he was very pleasant and courteous despite the fact that the weather was very cold and it was a Saturday morning. He examined my garage door opener and determined it needed to be replaced due to it being 17 years old. He offered to place a surge protector on the unit which I was grateful for because I have lost several appliances due to electrical surges in the past. He applied the 10% off Angie's List coupon without complaint and cheerfully left after answering all of my questions. I would welcome him to come again if I had any problems. Thank you.

Steve W came to our home on a very cold Saturday to fix a broken garage door torsion spring and was able to arrange his schedule to accomodate a specific time window when someone could be on site. He called thirty minutes ahead of his arrival and was very prompt and courteous. He installed new torsion springs, bearing supports, cables, and nylon coated rollers in a very short time. We were very glad to get the door back into such great working order (it's much quiter with the new rollers...) the same day the spring failed.

I called Tuesday afternoon...Jeff came out about 25 minutes later and had the job done in about 45 minutes. He did a fantastic job and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. He explained how to work my new garage door opener, as well as giving me hints on how to maintain it. Made sure I had the manual and left my garage just the way I had it....no mess at all for me to clean up. He programmed the remote for me and made sure my 4-digit code and the 2 remotes worked before he left. Great experience.
