Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site. This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.
Brian was very nice. No complaints there at all. I was hoping that more could be done to fix my issues, but I understand much of it has to due with my opener's bearings wearing out and Brian informed me that it is factory sealed and can't be lubricated or serviced. As for the limit adjustment, he adjusted just like I had done a million times, but after he left it starting acting up again. So, basically I spent $60 on a service fee only to have some some parts lubed with silicone. Considering he couldn't do anything other than that, it woulda been nice to have a break on the charge.
Repair. Cable had broke.
New springs were installed.

Steve W came to our home on a very cold Saturday to fix a broken garage door torsion spring and was able to arrange his schedule to accomodate a specific time window when someone could be on site. He called thirty minutes ahead of his arrival and was very prompt and courteous. He installed new torsion springs, bearing supports, cables, and nylon coated rollers in a very short time. We were very glad to get the door back into such great working order (it's much quiter with the new rollers...) the same day the spring failed.
The technician doing the installation was very professional and knowledgeabel. The newly installed garage door functions nicely so far. He installed it in a timely manner. The short time requested for a new garage door to be installed was met! Thanks!
The other technician, Brian, who did the old garage door assessemnt on Sunday also very professional and knowledgeable.
Brian did a great job. We have had problems with door for a long time and it is working great now. I recommend them to fix your door. They came same day and were on time. Brian was very nice and knowledgeable and fast!!

James customer service was excellent. He knew what the issue was, gave great advice and finished the job within a hour! What I thought was a simple spring replacement turned into complete overhaul. James pointed out the cheap builder low grade parts that were wearing out after 10 years. Im thankful James took the time to look over everything!! He found some issues that would have cost me more in the long run. No noise and super smooth with a lifetime warrenty from Precision!! What more could a home owner ask for?!?!?! THANKS JAMES!!
The service guy Stefan, was extremely informative and called after I got home to make sure I was satisfied with the door and if I has any questions. He was very professional, I would recommend Precision Door to my friends for sure.

Sunday night I closed the garage door but it only closed half way at an angle. I called for a Monday appt and was very pleased that Precision sent me an email notification with the picture of the tech who would be coming out. Brian was both very professional and personable. We purchased the 5-year guarantee garage door overhaul - the door works better than when it was new and we comment everytime we open and close the door on how quiet the operation is compared to the previous grunts, groans and creaking. I would give both Precision and Brian a 5-star rating and recommend your company to anyone who needed a garage door or garage door repair. I would also call Precision back in a New York minute should we need a new remote garage door opener.
