Our old garage door opener (Stanley) had been acting up, and Jim came out and gave us several options and the costs associated with each. He didn't try to pressure us into spending a more than we needed to, just pointed out the parts that were in need of replacement or service, and let us decide how much we wanted to spend. We decided on a new opener, since parts weren't available for the Stanley, and door rollers, which were obviously worn out, and had him silicone spray the remaining parts (spring, hinges, which are 20 years old, but not broken). He worked quickly and efficiently, was pleasant to talk with. I like the fact that the installers are employees of Precision, and are not subcontractors.
On a scheduling note, I had called to make the appointment from work at the end of the day, but a computer glitch failed to save my info in Precision's computer. When the technician didn't show up as expected on Friday, which I had off from work, I called Precision and they were so glad to hear from me and we rescheduled for the following day (Saturday). On Monday when I got to work, I had a voice mail message from the previous Friday, from Precision, it seems they had tried to contact me on Friday by going through all their caller-id's, and managed to find my work caller-id, and reached the receptionist, who couldn't figure out who the call belonged to, so she had the call forwarded to everyone in the office! We all had a laugh - but at least Precision goes the extra mile to try to contact their customers if there is a problem!
