Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.
Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.
This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

I chose precision from your online site and thought you seemed reliable. Jeff was punctual, pleasant and knowledgeable about my garage door problem. Whoever installed my original garage door put the tracks on backward and Jeff noticed this right away! He installed new springs, pulleys and wheels, corrected the tracks and it runs like a new garage door!

Used Precision once before, a short while ago. A different problem this time. The gal on the phone was very efficient and I was able to reach her at 7:30am. The technician was here by 11:30, as promised. The work is done and everything is working properly. My one complaint would be the price. He was here for 50 minutes and replaced the springs, 2 cables and end bearings. I have no idea how much the actual cost of these items were but with the 10% senior discount I paid $445. This seems very high to me.

These springs will last 3 times longer than standard springs and they are maintenance free. We do pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. We use the highest quality parts because personally, my motto is "we like our customers but we don't want you to have to see us again for a very long time". Again, I will investigate your concerns and will give you a call.

Called Precision because they installed new openers on our twin garage doors a few years back and we had a broken wire on one of those units. They came out FAST (the next day)and I'm sure would have come sooner if it had been an emergency). A very polite gentleman (Jim) called first and even knew the problem when I explained it to him. He tried to save me the service call by asking if I could splice wires (which I was hesitant to do)because he was sure he knew exactly what to do and it was an EASY job. I opted to have him come anyway...he did and he was correct in his diagnosis. He fixed the wires....checked all other potential problem situations and was off on his way. I definitely will call Precision for any future needs!!!!
